Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm and 8:30am

4pm Friday

Salary:
Negotiable based on experience

We are looking for a Workshop Foreman who has a hands-on approach to all tasks with the ability to fault-find and problem solve in a fast-paced reactive environment.

This will be the perfect role for someone with Foreman experience and knowledge of engineering.

Roles and responsibilities:

Liasing with the office and coordinating the engineers for the daily jobs
Picking parts and organising vehicles for the engineers to get them out on the road on time each day
Monitoring engineers productivity against times planned and updating the office and customers accordingly
Being the first point of contact for any issues the engineers report
Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop at all times
Monitoring consumable levels in the workshop and vans and placing orders accordingly
When the occasion demands, assist with faults and small installs
Monitoring stock levels of materials, maintaining accurate stock records
Liaising with management to ensure all relevant quality issues are addressed
Have good communication and organisation skills
Have a working knowledge of all aspects of workshop equipment, tools and machines
Understand the importance of health and safety

Experience in the Motability / Automotive industry would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
