- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls to produce precision-turned components.
- Perform cylindrical grinding as required to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for accurate production.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC lathes and grinding equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner with Fanuc programming expertise.
- Experience with cylindrical grinding and other related precision machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a subcontract engineering environment, especially in the oil and gas sector, is preferred.
