We are recruiting Finance graduates to help us make the world cleaner and healthier. Johnson Matthey (JM) is a global leader in sustainable technologies and a FTSE company. For more than 200 years, we have been applying unrivalled scientific expertise to enable cleaner air, improved health and the more efficient use of our planet's natural resources.

We have an exciting opportunity for graduates to join our Finance Graduate Programme so as to gain an accounting qualification and an early career advantage. This is a three-year programme that includes rotations that will see you gain highly transferable skills and competencies in transactional, operational and specialist Finance. Your rotations will take place across our London head office, and our research, manufacturing and service hubs in Royston and Sonning.

We will also sponsor your academic qualification (either CIMA or ACCA) and we offer a highly competitive salary and bonus structure coupled with market-leading benefits. The programme is robust and challenging, but we believe strongly in mentoring and coaching partnerships and you will receive plenty of support and career advice along the way. No two career paths are the same; as part of this programme, you will forge a journey with JM that reflects your strengths, interests, and passions. Additionally, we will support you every step of the way.

    Requirements for the role:

  • A degree or equivalent in a Finance related field, coupled with a strong academic track record.
  • IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Results-focused with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also be self-motivated.
  • How you will be rewarded:

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift-based roles).

At JM, an inclusive culture is integral to our values and ambitions for the future. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can bring their full self to work and thrive in their career. Welcoming everyone to JM, regardless of their unique characteristics, experiences or thoughts allows us to bring many different voices and experiences together to tackle the world's biggest challenges. Being truly inclusive means that all colleagues feel valued for their differences, views and contributions, and feel a sense of belonging at JM .
