    Overview:

    We are seeking a Lettings Manager to join our clients team based in Clerkenwell, London. As a prominent ambassador for their company, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and enthusiasm. This role involves managing a team, fostering landlord relationships, driving new business, and ensuring departmental efficiency and compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    New Business:

    • Act promptly and professionally on valuation inquiries, attend market appraisals, and follow up as necessary.
    • Cultivate professional, enduring relationships with landlords, expanding and maintaining the Landlord Prospecting Database.
    • Utilize marketing tools effectively to promote successful transactions and support centralized marketing initiatives.
    • Monitor competitor stock and identify opportunities for service expansion within the office network.


    Department Administration:

    • Provide informed advice on pricing and marketing strategies to landlords.
    • Ensure property and certification compliance for all landlords.
    • Offer regular feedback and marketing guidance to landlords with properties on the market.
    • Address day-to-day queries from landlords and tenants promptly.
    • Train and guide negotiators to optimize applicant inquiries and adhere to company guidelines.
    • Supervise file progression, including the approval of key documents such as draft tenancy agreements.
    • Motivate and support the team to achieve targets, structuring their day effectively and maximizing banking opportunities.

    General:

    • Uphold and improve office procedures and systems.
    • Maintain impeccable data quality and quantity on company software.
    • Ensure adequate office coverage and staffing levels at all times.
    • Report office maintenance issues and Health & Safety concerns.
    • Manage team annual leave requests, and monitor absences and punctuality.
    • Stay updated on legislative changes and industry guidelines.

    Working Hours:

    • Summer Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (on a rota basis with a half day in lieu).
    • Winter Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (on a rota basis with a half day in lieu). Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
