    Working in a hybrid style, based at home and City Square office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

    Requirements
    ​You will have a degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS (with appropriate option).
    Responsibilities

    You will lead and manage all city-wide locality social work services, workforce development, quality assurance, practice improvement, resource deployment and financial management.

    You will ensure children, young people and families are assessed and supported in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and models of best practice in social work.

    You will work collaboratively and purposefully with other statutory and Third Sector partners. You will lead on specific improvement initiatives and contribute towards transformational change across the care system.
    The Individual

    As a member of the Children and Families Service Leadership Team, you will have extensive experience in the strategic leadership, management and improvement of social work services, including in complex, challenging and volatile demographic and financial environments.

    You will be a team player who is able to apply good judgement and work autonomously.

    You will be able to inspire and motivate the workforce, supporting and challenging them to aspire towards and deliver excellent social work practice.

    You will passionate and committed to improving support to vulnerable children, young people and families.
