Senior HSE Advisor Wolverhampton£55k plus £5,800 car allowanceCivil Engineering

Position Overview:

Working for a Tier One contractor on a flagship project in North West Birmingham, There is a need for an Project based Safety professional to help with the delivery cycle of the project.

This is a great opportunity to develop within a supportive, ambitious contractor.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site Health and Safety support to the project teamOversee H&S documentation and ensure it is handled competentlyConduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Provide H&S inductions, training and orientation to new and existing personnel, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols and procedures.

Working closely with the Sustainability and Safety group functions to promote a high performing HSE cultureOversight of the sub-contract supply chain to ensure the highest standards are met RequiredIdeally a diploma or NVQ level V qualification or working towardsA good understanding of civil engineering disciplines (earthworks, piling, groundwork, sub-structures)Excellent communication and influencing skillsA flexible individual open to different working patternsAbility to work independently and take ownership of a site
