An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Corporate Nurse Education Team within BCUHB. We currently have 1 Band 7 vacancy for a Lead Practice Education Facilitator for the Central area.

The post holder will work strategically with Health Board Education leads and partner education providers to support student nurse education in practice.

Post holder will initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with key student placement staff, liaising with key university personnel and other stakeholders to enable innovative and valuable student learning opportunities.


The post holder would be responsible for providing an active and significant contribution to the implementation of these NewFuture Nurse Standards of proficiency for registered nurses in practice pan BCUHB, providing expert advice and support for areas focusing on Practice Assessor/Supervisor and the learning environment.


Working to strategic organisational values and behaviours and in line with the HEIW vision for Practice Education facilitators in Wales, BCUHB seeks staff that display creativity and innovation, whilst driving their own performance, and the performance of others, to provide the very best experience and service to support student learning in practice.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
