    Join a vibrant and dedicated team at our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Hastings, where we provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs.

    Our school is committed to empowering students to overcome challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential.
    We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team.

    As an SEN Teacher in our SEMH School, you will work with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties, providing them with tailored support and guidance to foster their academic, social, and emotional development.

    Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs.
    Utilise creative and innovative teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.
    Collaborate with other professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies, to ensure holistic support for students.
    Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in school meetings and reviews as required.
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
    Commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering a positive learning environment.

    07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
