    The Key Account Manager - Automotive will take ownership of the relationships and continued development of existing and new key automotive customers across all modes, focusing on retention of existing business in addition to identifying opportunities to grow share of wallet.

    Main ResponsibilitiesLead customer weekly/monthly meetings/calls as well as business/KPIs reviewsDevelop and maintain account development plan for each account identifying current share of business and additional opportunitiesProvide market intelligence and updates on an ongoing basisReview current and potential future system integration opportunitiesDrive MVT utilization and developmentTroubleshoot and resolve customer complaints including future corrective actionWork closely with the pricing and procurement teams on quotations and tender responsesFocus on building relationships with selected customersSupport collection process ensuring customers pay in accordance with agreed credit termsEnsure new customers or lanes are implemented correctly in conjunction with the onboarding teamSupport marketing campaigns and customer entertainmentWork as part of a team sharing knowledge and experience proactivelyGeneral SkillsA minimum of 5 years work experience in account managementA minimum of 5 years work experience in salesA background in freight forwardingA bachelors degree is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailProactive, team worker with excellent problem solving and organisation skillsStrong commercial acumen
