    SuperSharp, a Cambridge-based company specialising in Thermal Imaging and Earth Observation, as a member of the SATLANTIS group, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position commencing as soon as possible.

    We are looking for an experienced Engineer who can take a lead role in designing, manufacturing, and testing intricate and high-value space hardware, both at the component and sub-system levels, using advanced integration skills. Additionally, you will contribute to research and development, providing technical expertise, support, innovative solutions, and leadership.

    Your responsibilities will include identifying and defining subsystem requirements, selecting suitable components and materials, and offering engineering support for mission-specific and R&D projects. You will also provide specialised expertise during project operation phases, conduct system-level assessments, create test plans and procedures, manage test data and results, and oversee technical and project documentation.

    As part of the team, you will deliver technical expertise and support to the project system engineer, contribute to requirements management and technology readiness levels, and propose solutions for technical designs, techniques, and processes. Additionally, you will supervise resource budgets.

    The ideal candidate for this role will possess exceptional communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, knowledge of information security, analytical prowess, familiarity with systems engineering software tools, leadership qualities, organisational acumen, patience, and meticulous attention to detail.
