    Job Description

    The role

    • Implementing processes for energy portfolio management, risk management measures, policies on position management and hedging strategies.
    • Negotiation of commercial corporate PPA's with large players in the industry
    • Manage power offtake and balance agreements and sales contracts for guarantees of origin through tendering processes.
    • Actively managing short- and long-term positions with the associated hedges to minimize risk associated with the portfolio.
    • Working with the trading floor on executing market orders and coordinating with the broader business on strategy
    • Actively managing the relationship with the existing and potential power offtakers, balancing partners, regulatory bodies, ESOs and TSOs.
    • Monitoring local and EU energy regulations.
    • Supporting the business development and project teams in identifying and determining energy-related revenues
    • Supporting investment due diligence activities related to business or project offtake and trading agreements.

    The requirements

    • Extensive experience in the energy industry in project / portfolio management / energy trading at a regional and/or global level.
    • Proven track record in managing structured products within an established utility.
    • Experience in a power trading capacity and in tendering/negotiating offtake contracts and developing/implementing related strategies.
    • Relevant degree in Engineering and/or Economics
