Key Purpose of the role

  • To project manage all bids and proposals to predefined timelines
  • To maintain and update our bidding resources and tools such as our Bid Register, Portal Register, Bid Catalogue and Bid Folders
  • To create or adjust written and illustrated content for bids and proposals
  • To assist the Bid Manager in informing and implementing bid processes and strategy
  • To support the Bid Manager in achieving The Company's ambitious success rate targets for bids and proposals
Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of procurement portals and Bid Mailbox for relevant opportunities on a daily basis
  • Reviewing and thoroughly understanding tender documents
  • Creating written and illustrated content for bids and proposals according to brief
  • Creating and improving proposal templates with input from the Bid Manager
  • Conducting online customer research to inform bids and proposals
  • Liaising with other departments to obtain specific information in a timely manner, to inform bids and proposals
  • Assisting with all aspects of bid administration including maintenance and registrations of procurement portals, bid register, bid catalogue, portal register and bid folders
  • Ensuring all final bids are recorded in CRM system
  • Managing duediligence portals to given deadlines
  • Coordinating and scheduling bid meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Customer correspondence (acknowledgements, submissions and feedback)
  • Experience in bid coordination and project management
  • Excellent written communicator
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Good team player and able to work autonomously
