Incident Analyst

From £ 300 - £ 400p/d - inside IR35

Hybrid Multiple Locations

Until 31/03/2023
We are seeking an Incident Analyst for our government client.

The role location is hybrid, split between working on site 2 days a week and the remainder of the week working remotely.

Office locations include London, Milton Keynes or Glasgow, as preferred.

Clearance:
Security Check (SC)

This role is inside IR3- Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

Supporting the Senior Problem Manager in daytoday Problem Management activities
Understanding the needs of Technical Support groups and assisting in supporting their Problem Management activity
Producing timely Problem Management reporting and management information to inform continual service improvement exercises
Updating the backlog of problems and known errors in a timely manner, ensuring they are prioritised and are an accurate reflection of the problems
Assisting with root cause analysis, identifying improvement opportunities and assisting in coordinating Technical Support groups
Documenting and maintaining Problem Management processes and procedures
Supporting the Senior Problem Manager in leading forums such as Post Incident Reviews to ensure actions are assigned and completed
Proactively focusing on continuous improvement of self and service
Working with others to improve the user experience
Simplify processes
Improve the efficiency of IT Services to enable the Government's diplomatic, development and consular work around the world
