The Customer Service Manager will play a key role working closely with the sales team, whilst being customer focused to maintain strong relationships with clients, pricing jobs and maximising opportunity for turnover.

Based in Manchester, this client is a leading manufacturing and production business looking for a Customer Service Manager to lead and develop the team.


Description

The responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager will include:

  • You will regularly attend meetings at customer sites with your customer service representatives (CSR) and the account managers to understand plans, resolve commercial queries and communicate requirements to the repairs team in Manchester.
  • You will be responsible for setting and maintaining margin levels for component repairs to ensure a seamless service. This includes managing, analysing and authorising the pricing prior to work commencing where guideline pricing levels are outside of setparameters.
  • You will set up new list pricing and manage current lists for all parts components service and CEP in the UK and Europe market, supporting other markets from time to time as required.
  • As the manager of the UK and Europe team you will be accountable for accurate and timely customer parts, components and service order processing, driving weekly performance KPI's successful outcomes for each individual customer.
  • Liaising with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Smart Services and the Global supply chain teams this is a varied and challenging handson role.

Profile

  • Strong Customer Service Managerial experience, from an industrial background/dealing with large machinery
  • SAP experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage all stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills confident, and able to have difficuilt conversations
