    Vacancy - Customer Service Manager

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a diverse, dynamic and fast moving environment? Do you thrive in roles that require problem solving and a commitment to excellence? We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager with a transport or logistics background, to be the key liaison between our customers and our Bulk Terminals operation based at the Port of Liverpool.

    Your Role

This is a new role where you will work with experienced and talented managers within a business that has seen successful growth over the last 10 years. You will be at the forefront of building strong and proactive relationships with our customers to ensure they receive exceptional service, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders to support in securing new business.

You will be the interface with colleagues across the organisation, working with them to streamline processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy and service delivery, handling customer inquiries and resolving challenges with professionalism. Analysing customer feedback and data to identify further areas for improvement will also be a critical part of your role.

    What you'll bring

You will have proven experience in customer service or account management, within a transport or logistics environment with knowledge of cargo handling methods and, ideally, bulk commodities. Experience of managing contracts and service level agreements is essential and experience of project management or managing change would also be beneficial.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer centric approach and the ability and capacity to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

As part of this role you are expected to take up membership of the International Chamber of Shipping if you don't have this already.
