    We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic RVNs to join our nursing team to work within our intensive care unit, alongside our specialist emergency and critical care veterinary team.

    Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital providing veterinary referral services across the South of England including London and the Thames Valley. Our services include Anaesthesia, Emergency and Critical Care, Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment. We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates eight referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland.

    Most recently, we have been developing a brand new, state of the art ICU facility. The ICU facility includes a separate feline area, purpose built kennelling and high dependency area. State of the art equipment includes an ICU ventilator, high flow nasal oxygen machine and oxygen kennels; this ensures we can provide for and support a multitude of critical patient needs.

    The role:

    This is an exciting role incorporating inpatient care, emergency, and critical-care nursing.

  • Successful applicants would rota into ICU, cat, and dog wards.
  • You will be working in a dedicated team of RVNs, supported by PCAs and specialist-led referral team.
  • We support and fund further professional development, with several of our nursing team having postgraduate qualifications.
  • Full time role, 40 hrs p/w.
