Description

The department of dietetics and speech and language therapy employs approximately 130 staff, with clinical experts working across the range of specialties, providing acute services in both adults and paediatrics.

The paediatric speech and language therapy team consists of eight team members. As a tertiary hospital, we have senior SLTs in a wide range of specialist areas. There is access to regular CPD sessions, and opportunities to engage in service development and research.

The newly opened onsite Wellbeing Hub is an excellent resource for staff complete with a caf, various meeting spaces, a free gym and changing facilities.


Refer patients to instrumental assessment of their swallowing, and Offer training and support to SLTs, students, other staff and carers.


What experience/skills are needed If you are:

Passionate about working with babies, children and their families in an acute setting, Experienced in the assessment and management of babies and/or children presenting with communication and swallowing difficulties, Keen to have exposure and learn about the specialist services we provide, Thrive in working in a busy, dynamic and constantly changing environment, Value and actively contribute to, an MDT culture, and Committed to quality improvement, we would love to hear from you.
