- Providing legal advice to business managers in relation to general commercial contracts
- Identifying and managing legal risks
- Drafting, negotiating, amending and reviewing a wide range of legal documents including master services agreements, software licences, support and maintenance agreements, consultancy and confidentiality agreements
- Assist with managing intellectual property portfolios
- Advising on data protection issues
- Representing the business in meetings with existing and potential clients
- Mitigation of litigation and disputes that arise
- Assisting with the drafting and implementation of legal policies and procedures
- Leading on legal projects as required
- Qualified solicitor
- Strong experience of managing different aspects of commercial contracts
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience of working within financial services or technology would be beneficial
- Be able to work as part of a small team but also independently
