We are in looking to recruit a
Production Planner to join the Manufacturing team at the Crewe Service Centre. This is on a fixed term contract basis
to cover a period of maternity leave

Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager and working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring we effectively plan our resources to meet our customer requirements and business targets within the Crewe Service Centre.

Working with SAP you will be responsible for making production planning decisions based on data such as material availability, customer requirements and labour capacity.

Main Responsibilities

To fully understand the Service Centre business requirements
Delivery Performance achieve production plan and work with stakeholders to ensure suppliers meet their delivery requirements
To analyse and evaluate offtarget performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner to prevent a recurrence
Management of production material and stock requirements
Manage the preparation of equipment and procedural specifications
Work within budget controls

Essential criteria:

Experience working with
SAP or similar production planning tool
Experience gained working in a planning role ideally within a manufacturing operation
Excellent IT skills
Confident communicator across all levels and functions
Attention to detail and analysis skills
Ability to manage multifunction stakeholders
