Citizens Advice Plymouth service offer is growing, and we're looking for a Community and Partnership Engagement Officer to improve awareness and access to Citizens Advice Plymouth's services and drive referrals to Help to Claim Service.


The role will focus on building partnerships with local job centres, other Citizens Advice offices, user groups and other similar audiences to raise awareness and improve access to our services for people who need them.


This will be done by identifying new stakeholders, attending stakeholder and community events, and facilitating various engagement activities such as producing newsletters and organizing events.

The main focus will be on promoting the Help to Claim service and increasing referrals to the service.

You will also gather information from across the district about what works in relation to Universal Credit and work on various insight projects and be involved in pilots run by the national Impact & Improvement team.


The role is 30 hours a week (between 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday & 9am to 4:30pm on Fridays).


You'll work across the Devon and Cornwall Jobcentre Plus district area with occasional travelling and working during evenings and weekends.


This role has the potential to be wide ranging and have a major impact on Citizens Advice Plymouth and the local community.
