Duties and responsibilities:
Supporting and delivering the functional objective to continuously improve supply chain qualityWorking in conjunction with procurement and programme teams to proactively identify and address supply chain quality issues and drive continuous improvement activitiesContinually reducing the number of defects during the manufacturing cycle through improved supplied qualitySupporting and executing risk-based annual audit plan, prepare, execute, measure and monitor and ensure timely closure of findingsDeveloping, maintaining and enhancing manufacturing processesImproving supplier performance Key Skills required:Effective stakeholder management and collaborationThe ability to support quality investigations including root cause analysis methodologiesKnowledge of business management systems and associated processesExperience of capability evaluations of new sourcesAbility to constructively challenge and drive an improvement based cultureAerospace or automotive experienceKnowledge of business improvement techniquesKnowledge of quality certification and regulatory standards If this Senior Supplier Quality Engineer opportunity is of interest, please click APPLY with a recent copy of your CV for immediate consideration
