Job Overview:

As a Women's Jersey Designer, you will play a key role in creating and developing innovative designs for womens jersey and nightwear teams. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Designer or newly promoted Designer with a passion for fashion, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

Design Development:

• Create original and trend-forward designs for women's jerseywear, aligning with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to ensure designs are relevant and competitive.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with the design team, pattern makers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution of designs.
• Work closely with the UK-based team to understand market preferences and adapt designs accordingly.

Product Sampling and Prototyping:

• Oversee the sampling and prototyping process, providing feedback to ensure the final products meet quality and design standards.
• Work with production teams to address any design-related issues during the manufacturing process.

Market Research:

• Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings.
• Translate market insights into creative and commercially viable design concepts.

Business Growth:

• Contribute to the growth of the business by consistently delivering innovative and market-appropriate designs.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Assistant Designer or at the newly promoted Designer level in women's jerseywear.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills and a deep understanding of women's fashion.
• Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiastic and motivated with a desire to contribute to the growth of the business.
