Here at JN Bentley we are looking for 'Ready Made' civils' gangs to work on our construction sites across the region who are from in and around the Esholt area.

We usually have 3 people in a gang, consisting of a Lead Hand or 'Ganger', Skilled Operative and General Operative.


As a gang you will usually travel to and from site together and work on various construction sites across the region, predominantly within the water industry.

You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with ideally experience working within the water industry and general civil work, concreting and pipe laying.


  • Experience managing a gang working on civils projects, concreting and pipelaying and experience in the water industry.
  • A positive attitude towards work, along with the ability to maintain high standards of health and safety.
  • Current CSCS, CPCS or NPORS
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Slinger signaller
  • Confined Spaces
  • Plus, any other Plant tickets
  • Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering particularly general civils work, concreting and pipelaying and experience in the water industry.
  • Ideally holding your CSCS or CPCS / NOCN Plant Card.
  • CPCS/NOCN Plant cards (360 excavator, Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller)
