  • The impact you will have in this role:

    Being a member of the Client Connectivity Services team the Client Connectivity Services Senior Specialist is responsible for liaising with various internal departments to organize training for new hires and existing staff. Another key responsibility is to provide ad-hoc coaching sessions, which assist in the performance improvement of each Specialist. The trainer ensures that strong relationships are built with the Managers and Team Leaders to fully understand how the training specialist supports the training in key areas, such as the Client Contact Center. The launch of new products and preparation of training material to support product roll out.

    Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and validates required data obtained from clients to establish connection to DTCC's network and supports any lifecycle changes.
  • Works with internal teams to implement relevant network and authentication configurations and performs data delivery configurations with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Work in a number of different environments, including Linux/Unix and IBM Mainframe, utilizing various managed file transfer middleware infrastructure systems.
  • Navigates internal stakeholders to resolve client queries with little or no supervision.
  • Serves as an escalation point for outages and Major Incident events.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Talents Needed For Success:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • In depth understanding of how the transfer protocols work including FTP/S, SFTP, IBM MQ Messaging, Connect: Direct – Network Data Mover (NDM), including detailed knowledge of which DTCC departments are involved in supporting each protocol.
  • In depth understanding of data communications, CICS, VTAM, TCP/IP, DataTrak/AutoRoute.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and customer service skills.
  • Good presentation skills including written, graphic and verbal.
