We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Programme Manager to lead our services delivery team.


The team

The services delivery team manage and administer loans and grants for energy saving and low or zero carbon improvements to homes and businesses on behalf of governments, local authorities, and businesses.

What you'll do

You will lead and manage the services delivery team to successfully deliver high volume loan and grant schemes in accordance with contractual and compliance requirements.

You will also ensure we deliver a world class customer experience for our loans and grantsrecipients, focussing on continuous improvement.

You will own and develop relationships with key stakeholders and will identify opportunities for growth of the team's work, provide input to proposals and build capacity and competencies within the team.


What you'll bring

  • Customerfocussed orientation with demonstrable experience of managing in a highvolume customer service centre environment
  • At least 5 years' experience of programme management, with at least 2 years at a senior level
  • Experience of managing loans and/or grants funds
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of successfully delivering contracts and of strong financial control of largescale programmes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, proven ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders
  • Resilient, able to work under pressure and to motivate the team to meet challenging targets
  • Strong and effective leadership skills, able to inspire, lead and develop others, and strong people management and coaching skills
  • An understanding of delivery in an energy efficiency or climate change related industry would be an advantage.
This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. This post is based in Edinburgh and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
