    Software Developer - Java

    Location: London, Manchester, Cheltenham or Bristol.

    Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 + package

    Working model: Hybrid (1 or 2 times per month)

    Overview

    We are working with a well renowned Data and Technology Consultancy who provide bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems for their clients. They aim to please their customers and employees by delivering core mission solutions to keep the UK safe, secure and sustainably moving forward.

    They are searching for a Full-stack or Backend Developer with a background in Java development to build ground-breaking data and technology solutions for the UK Government.

    Requirements


    • Experience using Java, and modern frameworks


    • Experience using other languages such as JavaScript, Angular, React etc. is also welcomed but not compulsory


    • Taking accountability for key project deliverables.


    • Experience with all stages of the engineering lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to delivery and support


    • Implementing Agile methodology and best practice into a delivery team.


    • Leading technical engagement with senior users / customers


    • Providing support / mentoring / leadership to employees at the early stages of their career.


    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or AZURE
