To deliver this, a programme of work called Bank of the Future (BotF) is mobilising to initially focus delivering a new proposition built on an end-to-end modern technology stack to first direct.

Backed by Group, Bank of the Future and first direct will act as the tip of the spear for WPB to push the boundaries on banking technology innovation and setting Group target technology standards.


We have an opening for a Digital Copywriter which offers an exciting, challenging and visible opportunity to join the Programme, working with agility and striving to achieve service excellence through all aspects of delivery.

The product deployment will commence in 2024 with a pilot, and the aim to scale in 2025+ across additional products and propositions.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with our Design and Product teams to create clear, consistent, and market-leading content for our product, journeys and features.
  • Driving production of highquality and accurate copy across all channels for products and services with a primary focus on mobile channel.
  • Identifying opportunities from a copy standpoint to deliver an incredible customer experience end to end.
  • Working across a variety of journeys, ensuring adequate and appropriate prioritisation.
  • Ensuring all content presents an accurate overview of the brand and is aligned to brand guidelines/tone etc.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience of User Centred Design methodology and its practical implementation.
  • Experience and knowledge of delivering digital best practice in areas such as content management and accessibility is advantageous.
  • Experienced in multichannel content creation (web, mobile, tablet).
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Familiar with the use of tools including Confluence, JIRA or Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues in plain English.
This is a Hybrid working role however the base location for this role could be either
Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham or
London
