Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to those under your care.
  • Manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks when required to assist individuals with mobility.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users.
  • Keep accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in caregiving roles
  • Strong understanding of behaviour and Rehabilitation management techniques.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
