Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Senior Accounting Technician.

Successful applicants must have at least 5 GCSEs, and be AAT qualified (or equivalent). You must also have experience of working within a professional financial environment.

Duties of the role include:

Analysing financial data using financial systems such as Coretime (time sheets) and Oracle Cloud.
Preparing accurate/concise/timely budget monitoring/forecasting information, servicing managers/contractors/customers.
Providing support for the annual budget setting process.
Providing high quality financial advice, supporting the Service Manager and the BDS team.
Working closely with the customers, producing data for monthly financial reporting.
Providing support for financial year end processes, delivering tangible outcomes.
Monitoring/Resolving Invoice Queries.
Implementing positive changes to existing processes within the services and for their contractors and customers.
Reconciling financial data.
Investigating/analysing complex information.
Interpreting/utilising technical and analytical skills, interpreting performance data.
Action any in month/in year journal adjustments.
Preparing/maintaining Excel spread sheets using formulae.
Check time sheet entries of other employees.
Ensure deadlines at met.
Responding to correspondence.
Delivering the tasks agreed annually in your annual performance agreement.
Any other relevant duties as required

This position is a temporary contract until July 2023, working full time, paying £13.63ph.
