We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Senior Accounting Technician.Successful applicants must have at least 5 GCSEs, and be AAT qualified (or equivalent). You must also have experience of working within a professional financial environment.
Duties of the role include:
- Analysing financial data using financial systems such as Coretime (time sheets) and Oracle Cloud.
- Preparing accurate/concise/timely budget monitoring/forecasting information, servicing managers/contractors/customers.
- Providing support for the annual budget setting process.
- Providing high quality financial advice, supporting the Service Manager and the BDS team.
- Working closely with the customers, producing data for monthly financial reporting.
- Providing support for financial year end processes, delivering tangible outcomes.
- Monitoring/Resolving Invoice Queries.
- Implementing positive changes to existing processes within the services and for their contractors and customers.
- Reconciling financial data.
- Investigating/analysing complex information.
- Interpreting/utilising technical and analytical skills, interpreting performance data.
- Action any in month/in year journal adjustments.
- Preparing/maintaining Excel spread sheets using formulae.
- Check time sheet entries of other employees.
- Ensure deadlines at met.
- Responding to correspondence.
- Delivering the tasks agreed annually in your annual performance agreement.
- Any other relevant duties as required
