Senior Application Architect, Linux, Middleware, TCP-IP, Unix, Oracle, Databases, Cloud, Virtualization

Supporting appropriate solutions and designs to meet resiliency and stability requirements
Proactively managing and reducing risk in the infrastructure environment, including stability, resilience, currency, and security risk
Driving financial consumption optimizations levers to create capacity creation opportunities (increase ROI)

Skills and knowledge required:

- proven experience in Infrastructure/ Technical Architecture and/or solutions engineering and design experience.

Strong understanding of networking and distributed systems (Virtualization, Kubernetes containers, DBMS).
Experienced with design, delivery, and driving operational best practices in AWS or Azure platforms
Past investment banking, payments, and trading systems preferred
Architecture experience within large Financial Services (desirable) or Telco, Healthcare companies
Experience with building systems factoring in High Availability, Performance, and Capacity scalability for the future
Experience of a global working environment across multiple business areas, functions, and locations is a plus
