    Job Description:

    Responsible of the facilities of UK including major buildings located in London, Milton Keynes and Aberdeen, or plants, including Real Estate operations
    Coordinates activities related to buildings, maintenance and works, property transfers and management, and adjustments to existing regulations through effective technical and economic management.

    Job scope

    Main accountabilities
    • Monitors budgets and recommends appropriate corrective actions
    • Manages Real Estate transactions and is the main contact of the landlord.
    • Contributes to technical and economic management of property projects.
    • Monitors contracts with suppliers and contractors in line with set programs and requirements (costs and building conditions)
    • Manages the transfers between premises
    • Contributes to selection of outside suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with tender specifications and requirements
    • Contributes to the development of tender specifications to meet the organizations requirements for the property
    • Prepare reports on technical and economic information on property trends to the management
    • Maintains relationships with the bodies and institutions to obtain required authorizations and permits
    • Manage a team of Building & Facilities manager
    • Upates or consolidates metrics, Real Estate tracker, opex and shares the best practice tools
    • Implements the standard of workplace environment in line with business requirements
    • Ensure an excellent customer service to both internal and external Clients
    Building management & Health /Safety /security
    • Manages the services and building operations to provide a safe environment fitted to the business requirements and in line with the Group Standard and UK regulations
    • Guarantees the compliance with the government regulations, health and safety standards
    • Responding to emergency situations as they arise, liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service
    • Writing accurate reports and actions plans as a result of audits and/or incidents on site, being accountable for any expected actions as an outcome
    • Effectively manage site waste and recycling taking in to account environmental and health and safety factors
    • To ensure all site related risk assessments and method statements are monitored, reviewed and updated as per schedule and as necessary
    • Testing the fire alarm systems including the setting and disengaging of the alarm panel, and the activation of the call points, promptly dealing with alarm activations
    • Proactively supervise on site health and Safety activities, reviewing accidents and promoting safe working practices
    • Responsible for maintaining the required standards and completing the necessary action points during Health and Safety audits
    Key interactions

    Internally: HSES, Quality, P&C, Communication, Finance, Legal, IT, Project team, Sourcing & Procurement and other related disciplines
    Externally: Contractors, Suppliers, Relevant property bodies and institutions, landlord

    Typical background and experience required:

    Must have: '
    • Bachelor degree with significant experience in Real Estate or facilities management.

    • Knowledge on Finance, Project Management, Construction, related laws and regulation.
    • Team management min 5 people
    • Experience in Project Management
    Nice to have:
    • DSE training
    • IOSH certification
