Job type: Days based, Perm
Location: Tewkesbury
Pay: £14 - £16.50
Hours: 7am-4pm Mon-Thurs / 7am-12pm Fri
Our client is a small engineering company based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. They service a wide range of clients throughout the United Kingdom and offer a simple, efficient and cost–effective solution for all sheet metal requirements including precision metal fabrication, laser cutting, water jet cutting and machining.
They're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with the ability to perform milling and turning of precision parts in various materials.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Achieving key objectives in programming, setting and operating Hurco CNC Milling and Turning machines
⦁ To be quality focused, working to the procedures within the company's manufacturing process control document
⦁ Producing precision parts with tight tolerances
⦁ Inspection of components produced to ensure specifications are met
⦁ Take an active role in continuous improvement and optimising work processes.
⦁ Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Key Skills Required to be Effective:
⦁ Proven CNC experience, with a good understanding of machining principles
⦁ Knowledge and experience in conversational programming of CNC machines
⦁ Knowledge of relative safety standards
⦁ Willingness to use protective clothing
⦁ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
⦁ Familiarity with Hurco Winmax CNC Control Systems (desirable)
