Pro Insurance currently has an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is to support the Accountant responsible for Accounts Receivable.Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and issuing of Sales Invoices
- Data Analysis supporting the management accounts process
- Monitoring of the Finance Helpdesk requests, including maintenance of the records on General Ledger and Timesheet systems
- Uploading timesheet data into the General Ledger system
- Posting sales accruals and deferred income to the General Ledger system
- Cash forecasting
- Other tasks supporting the Corporate Finance function
Experience/Skills:
- Experience of an accounting software e.g. MS Dynamics, Sage, NetSuite, Xero etc (desirable)
- Experience of Excel and MS Office software
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver accurate information with an attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
- To be studying towards an accounting qualification e.g. Level 3/4 AAT or starting CIMA or ACCA.
- Experience in a similar position (desirable)
