Description
Join a leading company specialising in bulk handling equipment for the quarry and mining industry. With a global presence and a commitment to innovation, our client is at the forefront of their field. Your keen understanding of competitors' products will help identify gaps in the market. Cost feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and benchmarking against competitors will be second nature to you.Your design expertise will shine as you verify and release new designs, including 3D CAD models, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
You'll mentor junior team members, set team goals, and ensure they're met. Prototype testing, both on-site and in the factory, will be part of your routine to ensure successful project completion.
To be successful in securing the R&D Manager's role, you should be coming with previous experience with 3D and 2D CAD, preferably using Pro-Engineer or Creo, proficiency in designing hydraulic and electrical systems and experience in Finite Element Analysis.
We are looking for applicants with strong project management skills, a global perspective, understanding the development and manufacturing infrastructure internationally.
Ideally, you will have sound financial and budgetary planning abilities.
In return, the new R&D Manager will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £60,000+ (negotiable) and a bonus scheme up to 16% of salary.
