Our Public Sector Team


Okta's identity cloud solutions can have real impact in the Public Sector - but we've barely scratched the surface of what's possible.

We're breaking into Healthcare, Government and Education offering seamless login experience and security for both end users and workforce.

For this role, we'd love someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is excited by the chance to grow out our Higher Education patch across the UKI with autonomy and passion.


As an Account Executive, Higher Education you will...

  • Own the territory covering UKI for Higher Education Institutes.
  • Bring tailored value propositions and key messaging to the Clevel in the Education space, understanding their unique challenges.
  • Have a hunter mentality to break in with white space accounts, as well as nurturing upsell and cross sell opportunities.
  • Use a MEDDPICC methodology to run your sales process in an organised and structured way.
  • Understand pain and create value for your customers at every level of the business.
  • Become a market expert and evangelist in everything identity for the healthcare industry.
  • Embrace Okta's #1 core value to always love our customers;
  • Build effective working partnerships with your Okta colleagues (channel partners, sales engineering, business value management, customer first + many more globally) with humility and enthusiasm.

You could be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience selling into Higher Education
  • Worked in the SaaS space or sold a SaaS product
  • New business mindset and passion for breaking down doors
  • Experience in valuebased selling at senior/C-Level. MEDDPICCC
  • A reputation as a trusted business partner for your peers within the local reseller, technology partner and system integrator community
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • The ability to thrive in a very rapidly changing dynamic work environment including travel to customer and partner sites across the UK
