We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual with excellent Customer Service and Admin skills to deal with high end retailers arranging delivery of goods that have been ordered by the buyers.

My client is looking for a Transport Administrator whichinvolves a high level of customer service as well as administrative duties.

If you have transport / logistics experience that would be a distinct advantage.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm no weekends and a basic salary of £23,000.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deal with customer enquiries and take orders for products
  • Input orders onto computer system to produce paperwork as appropriate to the sale
  • Liaise with carriers on delivery enquiries and keep the customer informed
  • Raise internal paperwork, collection notes, and credit requests.
  • General Administrative duties

The successful Transport Administrator will need to have both Customer Service and Administration experience ideally from a transport administration background.

You will have strong IT skills particularly in Word and Excel and be able to demonstrate experiencedealing with customer enquiries over the phone as well as being able to work independently and work well under pressure
