BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:
Join an award-winning, £multi-million company to continue business growth within the Midlands region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with the senior management team
  • Secure future tender opportunities with target clients of strategic importance to the business
  • Generating business in key target sectors
  • Work with Senior Management to produce a strategic business plan and prospect list
  • Attend exhibitions and networking events
  • Work closely with Estimators to ensure timely submission of bids and return of tenders in line with client requirements
  • Submit regular progress reports and ensure data is accurate
  • Cold call as appropriate within market and/or geographic area to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Up sell and cross sell where possible
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively
  • Follow up and attend client feedback meetings at project completion

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2+ years in a BDM/BDR position
  • Confident communicator: written, verbal and presenting
  • Someone driven who works well autonomously
  • A 'Hunter' attitude willing to put in the groundwork to bring on new clients
  • BENEFICIAL: Bid writing/management
  • BENEFICIAL: Social media marketing

PACKAGE:
- £40-50k

  • Car Allowance
