    I'm collaborating with a global pharmaceutical company in search of a HEOR lead to join their UK division as an integral part of the broader Market Access and HEOR network. This role holds significant influence in spearheading economic value propositions for medical solutions throughout the UK & Ireland, ensuring patient access to all their treatments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the execution of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy across the entire product portfolio and product life cycles, with emphasis on pre-launch Health Technology Assessment (HTA) initiatives.
    • Lead a team of health economists crafting HTA submissions to relevant bodies such as NICE/SMC/NCPE, overseeing the requisite evidence generation and synthesis efforts.
    • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels, as well as external influencers impacting market access, pricing, and reimbursement, both nationally and locally.

    Key Requirements

    • Master's degree in health economics or a related field
    • Over 7 years of experience in Health Economics within the pharmaceutical sector
    • Demonstrate a track record of working in large, global matrix organizations
    • Hands on knowledge and expertise in HTA submissions to the UK and Ireland agencies (NICE, SMC, NCPE)
    • Experience leading evidence synthesis (systematic literature review, indirect comparisons, etc.), economic modelling (cost-effectiveness, budget impact), and real-world evidence generation
    • Strong project management and communication skills
    • Experience as a project manager and people leader, leading teams of people and stakeholders' day to day directly and on a project-by-project basis.
    • Understand the HTA landscape in the UK and Ireland and the funding issues that come with access in the NHS.
