    Description

We're looking for someone to join our team at SF Ben. As our Virtual Events Lead, you'll play a key role in our growing organization. We are looking for a proactive individual who has a desire to manage events, continually grow their impact, and is open to continue learning (and experimenting) as part of this ever-changing industry.

Even as SF Ben has gone from 'hobby blog' to 'media platform', we have stayed true to our values. With a guiding mission and vision that focuses on inspiring professionals in the Salesforce community to advance their careers, events are core to reaching and connecting with people.

This role will focus on the virtual webinars that attract a large, global audience. These are the most sought-after services we sell, and so are a core part of our business with plenty of career growth potential. Our plan is to scale the number of events we host; organising, driving registration and attendance, hosting, and maintaining engagement will be core in this respect.

The Virtual Events Lead should enjoy defining and refining content, being on camera, and approach events with plenty of energy. We are in search of an individual with outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent project management skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Based on a brief from our internal team or clients, organising virtual webinars from start to finish, including ideation (in order to produce engaging content), digital setup for registration, promotion, and acting as a host to introduce and moderate the Q&A.
    • Grow the number of registrations using creativity to capture people's attention, with support from our Social Media Coordinator, across Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Slack.
    • Build and maintain client relationships, serving as their primary point of contact, while also overseeing and managing meetings to ensure timely updates and effective communication.
    • Validate that slide decks are engaging, with the optimal balance of written content and visuals (such as images or diagrams).
    • Work closely with the 'technical' team to ensure content is topical and engaging for our audience. This includes requesting feedback on proposed event content and the messaging to promote events.
    • Perform research on current registration and attendance benchmarks and audience preferences.
    • Use our project management tool and manage the events calendar and ensure that each project runs smoothly and promotion begins in plenty of time.
    • Evangelise the SF Ben values through all events.
