Database Engineer /DBA - SQL-Server, PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL - Powershell/Shell script - Hedge FundHybrid working *** 3 days officeLeading Investment Management client is looking for a Database Engineer to join them on a permanent basis

Skills and experience required:
3 years + experience in a similar role (Essential)

Experience in database administration (at least two of the following:

SQL-Server, PostgreSQL and NoSQL)Basic understanding of DB monitoring, analysis, disaster recovery, and performance tuningExperience in one or more database programming languages (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL etc.) and BI services (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) for design, maintain, administrate, secure, backup and recovery across production, back test, UAT and development environmentsExperience of managing security and permissionsKnowledge of industry best practicesGood attention to detail, testing and documentationOrganized with a proactive approach to work.

Team player essential.
Experience in scripting in Powershell/Shell script, Python would be a plusExperience in cloud DB admin would be a plusExperience within a similar environment
