- Lead and supervise a team of paint technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the repair process.
- Perform high-quality paint repairs, including color matching, blending, and finishing, to restore vehicles to factory specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that equipment and tools are properly maintained and used safely.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure clear understanding of repair needs and expectations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- You will have previous experience in automotive painting and refinishing, with the ability to positively lead a team
- Proficiency in color matching and mixing, using computerized paint mixing systems if applicable.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and industry best practices.
- Certification in ATA/NVQ highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
