    Financial Planning Paraplanner required

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified and experienced paraplanner to work within a successful, forward-thinking financial planning business with offices in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, and now Spinningfields, Manchester city centre.

    The successful candidate will have either the paraplanner or financial adviser level 4 diploma through the CII. They will be hard-working and efficient, familiar with Office 365 and investment platforms. KBA's ethos is that we want to help people have better lives.     This is a busy, collaborative working environment where team members need to be positive, proactive, and combine high attention to detail with a flexible approach to dealing with a varied and interesting range of clients and tasks.

    The responsibilities are to collate information to create financial plans and specialist reports, keep knowledge up to date and do fund and product research, sit in client meetings where appropriate, tax year planning and also support the admin team with client support where required.

    We will welcome somebody who enjoys working as part of a friendly team and will use their enthusiasm to reinforce what we already do well and contribute ideas about how we can keep improving our service.

    This position is full time Monday - Friday 9:00 – 17:00 initially but then flexible working/home working may be available.

    At least 2 years experience in a Financial Services administration/paraplanning role.

    Job Types:

    Produce all relevant paperwork and regulatory requirements for the planner to present potential solutions to clients.
    Create financial plans and cash flow forecasts.
    Assist with tax-year planning.

    Assist in the management of client relationships, including attendance at client meetings, receiving client phone calls, and providing information of a technical nature if requested.

    answer general questions about financial planning or technical elements of the clients arrangements
    gather necessary information from client so that a financial analysis can be completed
    Review the client's financial statements, legal documents, and other data.

    the effect of their current arrangements on future circumstances using relevant financial planning tools
    Prepare detailed options for the planner to consider in supporting the client's financial planning objectives.
    Prepare calculations summarising the client's investment management needs, critical illness, disability, and life insurance needs.
    Manage the delivery of ongoing service requirements, maintaining accurate OWS and CRM records.
    Process new business applications, establish, and maintain CRM and platform records for new clients.
    Update client CRM, platform, and provider records where appropriate to ensure correlation with the internal CRM.

    Research and evaluate external developments in their own specialist area and recommend ways in which the practice may benefit from their implementation.

    Deliver projects within your own specialist area to meet defined business objectives.

    Compliance:

    understand and adhere to the practice and Openwork's systems and regulatory requirements, and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies.

    This includes the completion of any mandatory training requirements.

    Financial Controls:
    Ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets, etc.)
