I am delighted to be working with a global law firm and assisting them in their recruitment for an International Tax manager.

This role will work alongside the UK Tax Manager, reports to the Head Group Tax and is available on a fully remote working basis.


The International Tax Manager will take responsibility for all non-UK related tax compliance matters including non-UK partnership tax computations and overseeing corporate/income tax returns with afocus on the middle east.

This role will work closely withthe UK Tax Manager and collaborate on mobility/remote working queries and lead on the adherence and reporting under transfer pricing legislation.

This role will be involved in the assessment of the impact of new legislation on the Firm and putting in placemeasures to effectively manage the tax risks and you will liaise with colleagues from a non-tax background to ensure tax is understood and factored into decision making across the business.

The International Tax Manager will have the opportunity to collaboratewith colleagues and external advisors on tax planning and analysis queries e.g., partner hoc tax queries, capital/cash repatriation, cross-border transactions, new offices/operations/legal structures, and various ad hoc projects for the firm.

You will alsohave an opportunity to be involved in projects such as assisting Fee earners and the Finance team with efficient structuring of client billing and revenue remittance arrangements (e.g. withholding tax matters) to maximise the profitability of transactions.

Applicants need a formal accountancy or tax qualification, ideally ACA and / or CTA, is desirable. You must have relevant experience gained within a similar partnership environment, ideally from a law Firm.

You will need to be able to demonstrate technicaltax knowledge supported by experience of advising partners on tax issues with the ability to present quantitative data in a form which is understandable to partners.
