Working Hours:39 hours Monday - Friday


Salary:
£ £16.00 per hour depending on experience

We design, manufacture, install and service complete systems for a wide range of products from initial concept to final execution, providing processors with ideal solutions for processing, product handling, sorting, precision flavouring, weighing and packing.


The Role - Fabricator Welder/Fitter:

Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced fabricator welder / fitter to join our team.

  • Experience in all aspects of fabrication including but not limited to
  • Tig/mig welding jobs to a high standard,
  • Workshop/fabrication equipment, such as a cnc guillotine, cnc break press, pillar drill and bandsaw
  • Working with stainless steel and mild steel
  • Working on site installations in the UK and abroad
  • Quality workmanship in sheet metal fabrication
  • Maintain good housekeeping, safety, material handling duties, and meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Operation of assembly fixtures
  • Problem solving of workplace issues
  • Quality inspections of work in progress
  • All other tasks as assigned by Supervision

Requirements - Fabricator Welder/Fitter:


  • Must have proven skills and experience as a TIG/MIG Welder
  • Able to read and work from engineer drawings independently
  • Ability operating manual fabrications machinery/tools
  • Proven ability to work off own initiative

  • Experience working in the food industry is preferred
  • Ideally qualified to NVQ level 2 and above or time served
  • Fabricating for 3 years is preferred
  • Driving licence preferred
