Description

Our client is a leading communications company with offices in Manchester, who are renowned for nurturing a supportive and flexible working environment.

They are now on the hunt for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their thriving Finance department.
This is a newly created position due growth, reporting into the Financial Controller.

Duties include:

Prepares detailed month end analysis of profit and loss overhead expenses and balance sheet account reconciliations
Assists with monthly group planning system submissions
Confirms monthly Intercompany payment requirements and investigates reconciling balances.
UK accounts payable support, providing complex invoice coding and approval guidance
Support the Financial Controller in process improvement projects
Prepares overhead forecasting reports
Support with the quarterly forecast submission
Line management responsibility for Accounts Assistants
