    3:30pm - 5:30pm will be supporting in After School Club and therefore 10 hours per week will be paid at grade N2 (£22,737 FTE)

    The Governors of Archbishop Runcie Church of England VA First School wish to appoint a permanent support assistant, from 1st July 2024, or sooner if possible, to support in EYFS.

    This post is term time only with 3 training days.

    We are looking for staff who care deeply and are passionate for children and their learning, who can build very strong relationships with pupils and their families and who are willing to go the extra mile to make a difference to our local community.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our EYFS team to support children within the provision as well and deliver small group sessions.

    It will be an opportunity to play a full part in the continued development of our vision for all our children to become confident, secure, caring individuals who flourish through our ambitious and creative curriculum.

    It would be advantageous to have experience of teaching Read, Write Inc Phonics as well as have had paediatric first aider training (or be willing to undertake this training).

    This post is suitable for experienced Teaching Assistants and/or someone with a *full and relevant EYFS qualification. The successful candidate will set high standards for themselves, the school and our children. have experience of supporting learning within the first school age range, including EYFS

    * support the vision and Christian ethos of the school
    * be innovative, creative and imaginative
