Where you come in:


We want to find someone who lives and breathes content - an expert from the creative, production and distribution side.

They will play a crucial role in ensuring a steady flow of high-quality user-generated content (UGC) to the Beatportal platform, from key partners such as record labels, managers, artists, DJs, and other stakeholders.

They will have a deep understanding of how content works on owned platforms, as well as on social, and will work cross functionally with senior management within Beatport to build a new, community-led experience on the platform.

This role will be based in the UK with an opportunity to work remotely as well as visit and spend time with the team at the Farringdon office in London.


As Head of Media Partnerships for Beatportal, you will be accountable for:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners in the music industry to source UGC.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to align content themes and formats with the platform's editorial strategy.
  • Collaborate with the community management team to ensure that UGC partners understand guidelines and expectations.
  • Provide guidance and support to UGC partners regarding content creation, format requirements, and submission processes.
  • Monitor quality and relevance of UGC submissions, providing feedback and guidance as needed to ensure they meet the platform's standards and objectives
  • Acts as a liaison between UGC partners and other departments within TBG to facilitate collaboration/integration opportunities.
  • Content Creators: Produce UGC multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, playlists, and interactive experiences to enhance user engagement and promote TBG offerings.

As Head of Media Partnerships for Beatportal, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in content strategy, media partnerships, and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the music, editorial and media landscape, trends, and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience working in media publishing, influencer marketing, agency production fields etc.
  • Excellent creative and production skills, with the ability to translate insights into plans that support our slate of partners contributing to Beatportal.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence crossfunctional teams (internally and externally).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favourable deals and partnerships for the company and its clients.
  • Strong attention to detail across a wide range of partnership accounts.
  • The ability, energy and passion to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable impact and value.
