- Assess and provide treatment and care to patients attending the Emergency Medical Unit (EMU), ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Support registered clinical colleagues and mentor unregistered clinical staff, fostering their professional development and promoting best practice standards.
- Deliver a responsive, patient-focused service, prioritizing patient needs and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and facilitate smooth patient transitions within the healthcare system.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, complying with data protection regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the evaluation and enhancement of patient care processes.

- Registered Nurse with current registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Register.
- Band 5/6 level experience in a community healthcare setting, preferably within an Emergency Medical Unit (EMU) or similar acute care environment.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessing and treating patients, including medication administration and clinical procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to act as a role model and mentor to junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and engaging in continuous professional development activities.
