    MainPurpose of Job
    The mainpurpose of the Account Manager role in Abertillery is to supportour client in managing existing key customer accounts and aidingthe Commercial Manager in the growth and development of major newaccounts as needed. The role involves project managing majorcustomer accounts to secure repeat business and ensuring excellentcustomer service support including addressing any technical orquality needs by leveraging internal departments to ensure customersatisfaction.

    Theideal candidate should have prior experience in a CEM/EMSenvironment preferably in an Account Manager or Customer Servicerole with a resultsdriven mindset aimed at achieving specificaccount growth goals including new orders and sales targets. Theyshould also possess the ability to provide excellent support whilefully understanding the customers decisionmaking process to win newbusiness/projects and strengthen customerrelationships.

    MainResponsibilities and KeyTasks

    • Manage andinterpret customer expectations and activity enhancing customerinteraction through effectivecommunication.
    • Conduct occasionalcustomer visits and participate in internal and offsite customermeetings as required.
    • Project managethe transfer and implementation of large new customer projects fromdevelopment to customerdelivery.
    • Understand the customerstotal spend on electronics and collaborate closely with theirpurchasing engineering and design teams to ensure ECs involvementin all new projects.
    • Build strongcustomer relationships and identify opportunities to increasebusiness with the assigned accountbase.
    • Liaise with EC engineeringestimating purchasing logistics and manufacturing departments toensure maximum customersatisfaction.
    • Work towards KPIs setby the Commercial Manager closely following up on all quotes to winrepeat and new business.
    • Managesales orders and be responsible for the New Product Introduction(NPI) process whereappropriate.
    • Support Salesdepartment administration tasks asrequired.

    • Proficiency in computerskills particularly in Word and Excel with ideally some knowledgeof Uniplan and EES ERPsystems.
    • Strong organizational andtime management skills.
    • Ability towork calmly and methodically under pressure from a busy and variedworkload.
    • Analytical skills toevaluate situations and produce effective solutions toproblems.

    Requirements

    Experience

    • Previousexperience dealing with customers in a CEM sales and technicalenvironment.
    • Good working knowledgeof automated SMT PCB assembly general PCB assembly cable and wireharness assembly and electroniccomponents.

    Salary35K 40K DOE
