    LNJ Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Account Handler to join the commercial team of a prestigious client.

    This role is based in Edinburgh (Hybrid) and is a prime opportunity for individuals with a robust background in Commercial insurance eager to further enhance their skills within a leading global organization.

    Ideal candidates should possess experience working in the Commercial Insurance industry.

    This position also offers the flexibility of hybrid working, requiring three days per week in-office presence.

    Your Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborating with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, manage contract reviews, and handle midterm changes.
    Aiming to achieve sales targets in partnership with Account Executives.
    Providing comprehensive account management and service delivery, ensuring client needs are met according to agreed standards.
    Handling all queries, renewals, amendments, and mid-term adjustments efficiently.
    Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, and team members to deliver superior service and drive growth.

    Performing critical client functions, including risk evaluations, loss experience reviews, and developing solutions that meet client needs across product lines.

    Serving as a direct contact for clients, addressing their needs and answering complex inquiries to enhance client satisfaction.
    Maintaining an in-depth understanding of market conditions and adhering to all compliance, professional, and transparency standards.


    What You Need to Have:
    Essential experience in Commercial Insurance, whether from a handling or underwriting background.
    An ambitious nature and a strong team player.
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.


    What Makes You Stand Out:
    Cert CII qualification is advantageous.
    Working knowledge of Acturis is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
